Between getting lost for 15 minutes, lugging a changing tent through the heat, and running out of water, this shoot was an adventure. 😅 But this sweet mama was a total trooper, and getting to this spot made every single step worth it.

Massive thank you to the random photographer we suddenly ran into who pointed us in the right direction. (I am so grateful for this because I didn’t have a plan B).

The sweat was real but I’d do it again to get these shots! ☀️

Some of my favorite moments from a session are the ones you could never plan.

This beautiful girl is my niece, and while taking her photos I smiled when I noticed the bracelet she was wearing. It says, "Made Worthy." I made it for her a while back, and she chose to wear it without either of us planning it for the session. I also didn’t plan the duck situation.. 😅 those cute little things were walking out of the lake and started following us around, so I naturally, I HAD to get a shot with them in the frame.

See, moments like these are why I love what I do. I don't want to just capture photos. I want to capture the meaning, the beauty of the spontaneous, and the life unfolding in front of my camera so you can remember not just what this season looked like, but how it felt.

My hope is that every gallery feels just as personal, authentic, and impossible to duplicate. That you can look back at your photos 5, 10, or 20 years from now and notice something new about this season of life, that it reminds you of who you were in that time, and that it brings you joy.

Behind this new business owner is a strong support system, a loyal dog, her Bible, and a lot of heart. 🤍

This session was all about capturing the wonderful person behind Bloom Family Chiropractic — Dr. Laura Krouse.

Laura has a natural warmth and vibrant energy that is inherently healing, and that is exactly what she is bringing into her new practice.

Together, we wanted to capture a little bit of personal branding paired with lifestyle shots to show all those different layers — the professional side, the rootedness, and a little bit of bold & fun shots that show her full personality.
