I’ve gone back and forth about posting this because being vulnerable isn’t easy.

If I’m being honest, I’m really considering closing the doors on Bell Photography.

I started Bell Photography because I genuinely love capturing memories. My goal was never to become the most expensive photographer. It was to give families beautiful photos they could actually afford. Seeing people smile when they receive their gallery has always been the best part of this journey.

But lately, I just feel defeated.

I watch photographers charge three times what I do for a fraction of the photos, and they’re fully booked within minutes of posting. This past weekend I opened several mini session spots and only one person booked.

I know my work has grown. I’m proud of the images I create. I work hard to deliver galleries quickly, I pour my heart into every session, and I truly care about every family that trusts me. That’s why it’s so hard to understand why I struggle so much to get bookings.

The truth is, I’m exhausted.

I work a full-time job, I’m raising three little ones, and every spare moment I have goes into trying to grow this business. I keep pushing, posting, advertising, and hoping, but it feels like I’m constantly falling short.

Maybe this just isn’t where God is leading me anymore. Or maybe it’s simply a season I don’t understand yet.

I do want to reassure everyone that I’m not making any final decisions right now. This is just where my heart is at, and I’m taking some time to pray, reflect, and figure out what’s next. If you already have a session booked with me, please don’t worry. Your session is absolutely still on, and I’m looking forward to capturing those memories for you.

Thank you to every single person who has trusted me to capture your family’s memories. You have no idea how much it has meant to me.

Whether Bell Photography continues or not, I’m incredibly grateful for every person, family, couple, etc who has supported this dream.

For just $100, you’ll receive:
📸 15-minute session
🤍 All edited digital images
📍 Beautiful outdoor location at Cliff Cave
⏰ Available time slots are listed below!

Because these are mini sessions, it’s very important that everyone arrives on time and ready to go. Since each session is only 15 minutes long, late arrivals will cut into your session time so I can stay on schedule for the clients booked after you.

Nonrefundable payment and signed contract is required to secure your session, and spots are limited! (If inclement weather or an emergency prevents your session from taking place, one transferable reschedule will be honored and scheduled for a later date.)

Welllllll… we’re backkkkk! 🤍

First and foremost, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who has been patient, supportive, understanding, and cheering us on while we navigated some rough medical things with Jett over the last year, while also finishing out my pregnancy and welcoming our sweet baby girl, Sunday, into the world. Life got a little wild there for a minute, but we are finally settling into our new normal and are SO excited to get back behind the camera.

As of right now, we will mainly be scheduling sessions on weekends while I continue surviving the postpartum era 😂 As cute as my babies are, I would really prefer not to drag all 3 of them around to photoshoots during the week. So weekends it is for now!

The weather is getting beautiful again and we are SO ready to capture all the love, chaos, laughter, snuggles, and memories with you guys. We will primarily be focusing on maternity and family style sessions this season. However, if you are interested in weddings, newborns, or birth photography, feel free to message us and we can chat more about details and availability.

Also… there are TWO free session vouchers floating around out there from last year 👀 If you are one of the lucky people holding one, please reach out to get your session booked! You will need to provide proof that you are in possession of the voucher before booking and then bring it with you to your session. Think of it like a coupon at a store… except way cuter and with less self checkout frustration 😂

A few business updates moving forward:
🤍 All booked sessions will require a 50% non refundable deposit
🤍 One time reschedules will be available should something unexpected come up
🤍 Updated contracts will now be required to be signed prior to ALL sessions
