Good morning, my Friends and Happy Thursday!

I am back with another fun fact and this one slightly made me chuckle, because what!?

The "First Look" was banned before the ceremony back in the day to hide the Bride so the Groom wouldn't back out if he found her unattractive. 🤯🤯🤯

How would that make you feel? 👀
Wouldn't you think by that point the Groom would know if he was attracted to her or not?

ESPECIALLY when this is the day Brides always feel the most beautiful. 🥲

I love doing research and learning the back history of weddings, how they started, the original traditions, and so on.
Today, I ran across something VERY interesting.🧐

In medieval France and England, the bride was considered lucky on her wedding day — so lucky that guests would literally tear pieces from her dress and flowers to carry that luck home with them.
A bride would finish her wedding night in a shredded gown and her bouquet pulled apart stem by stem by her guests.🤯

It was a gesture of love and superstition, but it was also, obviously, a problem.
Brides began throwing their bouquets to distract the crowd — a decoy tossed over the shoulder so the couple could escape to the bridal chamber with the dress intact.

Over time, the distraction became the ritual itself. The bouquet toss evolved from a desperate escape tactic into a symbol: the single woman who caught the flowers would, by the same logic of luck-by-proximity, be the next to marry. The tearing of the dress faded. The toss remained.

THANK GOODNESS Brides are not leaving their weddings with a ruined, shredded dress these days! 😇

I have Nick working REALLY hard behind the scenes on few custom wood builds. 🫣🤩

He is currently working on the following:

- Wooden bars (You can add custom vinyl to the front)
- Wooden benches (with and without backs)
- Wooden backdrops (3 styles)

First epic fail.. Happy Sunday. 🫠

I have spent the past HOUR trying to edit a video because.. Well... I am NOT tech savvy and this is all GREEK to me. 🤣

I finally had it. Finally exported the video... Then, I accidentally deleted it! LIKE GONE! No recovering! I have tried for the past 20 minutes. 🫪

My storage is full and my videos didn't back up. 🥴

Needless to say... I am not sure videoing is for me. 😅

Any who... Who needs a decorator or coordinator? I can DEFINITELY assist there. 😝
