Honestly, I had no idea photobooths could be this freakin' cute. It was so hard to choose just ten of these to show y'all. Thanks so much for having me! If you missed me this time I'll be back at Valentines with another booth!

Are you kidding me??? These two were the cutest! I don't think I saw Ellie stop smiling all day. Also, can you believe that she made her dress??

When I asked Ellie and Roots to describe their vision for their wedding the words "whimsical" and "hobbit" were used repeatedly. I am so grateful I got to document these sweet people celebrating the immense love they obviously hold for each other. Weddings like this one make me so happy I chose this path.

In an Ingle's Grocery Store in 2014 Romie pulled her dad aside, pointed across the aisle, and whispered "That's him Dad. That's the guy I like." Her Dad, in typical Dad fashion, pretended that he was going to go over and introduce himself to Corey as Romie drug him away in horror.

✨️Avia and Kyle✨️
Sometimes you work with people that are just a joy to be around from start to finish and that was Avia and Kyle. The couple owns Main Street Comics and Games and I knew and loved their store but I'm so so glad to have gotten a chance to know them. They are both genuine, funny, and kind people and Marshall is lucky to have them!

Avia and Kyle chose to book a separate session for their detail shots and it was so much fun to get to take my time and get to know all of these special little items. I usually take a documentary style approach to photography so I don't do much posing or arranging in my shoots. This felt more like collage or painting than the photography I'm used to. I love documentary style shooting so much because it allows you to capture real people and real moments and real love but there is also something so satisfying about a styled shoot. Instead of reactively trying to grab a moment before it passed I got to take the time to play. I would love so much to get to do more shoots like this.

New Headshots for the staff at WNC Community Health Services.

It was such a joy to work with the providers and staff at WNCCHS. This Health Center is working to make health care in our region accessible to folks of all genders, races, ethnicities, cultures, abilities, ages, sexual orientations and other lived experiences, regardless of their ability to pay.

They provide Primary Care, Women's Health Care, Dental Care, Behavioral Health, HIV Care, HIVe Care, Trans Health Care, Pharmaceutical Services, Office Based Opiod Treatment, and Medical Legal Partnership.
