I’ve been meaning to do branding photos soon to reintroduce myself to all the new faces to my account. Until then this will do.

My name is April and April Louise Photography is my business! I’ve been doing photography for practically my whole life as a hobby but this is my fifth year professionally!
My love is couples photography and solo, but I enjoy all photography and weddings I get the honor of being apart of!

This isn’t my full time job as I have a Monday through Friday driving local semi. Which lets me spend a lot of time with my little girl. I am a new first time mom as of September and after not only changing my life for the better, I have been slower at taking sessions because I’m trying to soak in her first year with my husband and I.

My photography has changed over the years, and recently I’ve been trying to get into more of cinematic/ artistic photography and really loving where it is going!

My July schedule will be full and now looking at August and fall for sessions!
I look forward to getting to know you and be able to tell your story through my photography!

Children often get tired and bored quickly of looking at a camera and smiling. I try to incorporate an activity or prompt of some kind to engage the child to want to participate!
My go to’s are spinning in a circle together.
Running to me and back to the parents.
A treasure hunt of finding flowers or pointing to something.
A game of telephone, having the child pass a whisper between the parents.

Just a few ideas to help a child warm up to a photo session!
