Sky Hound Recovery

10/27/2026

Last week we were able to help out a youth hunter with what may be her biggest buck to date!
Wade reached out and said that Shelby had made what he believe was a good shot but after 100 yards of tracking the trail went dry.
We started searching where the trail left off with no luck… after a thorough search of that area we took off in the opposite direction to a near by bedding area and found him there expired!

Congrats again Shelby!

If you or someone you know needs help, give us a call!

Predator vs Prey

We found this buck late last week over 24 hours from the initial shot. To our surprise, there was a bobcat already on its trail. A drone was used to monitor this deer over the next couple of days and eventually found him expired.

Give us a call!

Last week we had the opportunity to help our buddy Josh West recover a deer he had downed in TN. His shot placement was good, but just a little back. This deer was still alive when we first located him so we opted to pull out and come back and give another look the next day. Once we had relocated it somebody else had beat us to it! Just goes to show we’re not the only hunters in the woods!

Congrats Josh!

Another one located! This hunter felt good about his shot but due to the lack of blood on the ground and dense vegetation, he decided to back out of the area and give us a call. We showed up and found this stud less than 100 yards away.

What an awesome week in the deer woods! Since opening day, we have been out on the road every night helping hunters and have had a ton of success! We were even able to link up with Thermal Pursuit and tag team a few of the tracks.

We are so thankful for the support and everyone who has put their trust in us! If you or someone you know could use our help, give us a call!

Modern fi***rm was a huge success!
We are so thankful for the referrals, friends, and memories made.
We would also like to give Thermal Pursuit a shoutout for calling us out to aid in a couple of their recoveries!

There are still several weeks of archery left and late muzzleloader season in December so if you haven’t filled your tag yet there’s still time!
