If anyone is confused about what bad b-word energy looks like… take some notes 📝 from my girl Chelbie. 😘🔥
Never in my life have I known an adult to go through a true name change (💍 not like last name) because it meant that much much to them. I think the name that once caused her grief, she can now wear with pride & I support her decision! This shoot was too cute and such a fun way to celebrate her announcement.
“As many of you know, when I was born, my name was spelled Chelby… When I was 9, just shy of turning 10, I was legally adopted by my parents and we ALL chose to legally change my name to SHELBY… I have decided to turn in the paperwork and legally change it back. It is not necessarily a regret that I have that I changed it to Shelby, but I do feel like Chelby is different, vibrant, and unique. I personally feel like those are attributes to my character and my person. I have added IE to the end instead of Y, because it adds a little bit more... PIZZAZ😁”
