There are some sessions that mean a little more, and this one is definitely one of them. 🖤 Lila is officially my very first Class of 2027 senior, but she's also someone I've had the privilege of watching grow up over the last 9 years—from a little girl running around the ball fields while I photographed games to now standing in front of my camera as a senior. I've been honored to photograph each of her siblings' senior years, and getting to continue that tradition with Lila is something I'll never take for granted. Time has a way of reminding you just how quickly these moments pass, and I'm so thankful her family has trusted me to preserve them along the way. 🫶🏼

Teaching Jacob during his 8th-grade year, which was also my first year teaching, started a connection that has lasted far beyond the classroom. Through baseball, I became close not only with Jacob and his family, but with several other families who made that season and the years after so special. From photographing his high school baseball career and spending summer weekends at travel ball games to taking both his Hopkinsville High School senior and now college senior photos at Kentucky Wesleyan, it has been such a privilege to watch him grow over the last nine years. Baseball quickly became my favorite sport to photograph and follow because of players and families like Jacob’s. I could not be prouder of everything he has accomplished, and I have truly enjoyed getting to shadow so many milestones along the way.
