Remember how I mentioned that the holiday exclusives in the studio this year come with sets designed to line up perfectly with your wardrobe choices, no matter what they are? Well this is one of the more formal options! The others are on their way, by the way - they’ve been confirmed, and I can’t wait to show you! The balloon set (that you’ve seen) is this year’s “casual” option, this one is the more “formal” option, and the others? They fit somewhere in between where mixing and matching works!!

Let's talk about wardrobe! When you're picking what to wear for a family photo session, there's something important you should think about. And believe it or not, it's actually matching TOO much! Which is completely possible, and brings a stiffness to your images that can't be sorted out in editing. But if you take your cues from this gorgeous family, and aim for a set of matching clothing that bring in different textures and complex colors, you'll be headed for images that look straight out of a storybook! Neutral sets for your newborn photo session come in all shapes and sizes - and tones, and themes! We can keep things feminine with textures and lace, or lean into more gender-neutral, or masculine tones too, depending on the props and specific items we choose to pair with your set.
