Living in a small community, I see the many phases of life for the people in it. To witness them grow from babies to teenagers, and then finally to parents and newlyweds is special. I take it to heart that people invite me in to share in these special times with them, to help them memorialize the days they don’t want to forget, the memories they’ll show their children when they get older, and to reminisce on the day they felt so in love and made a commitment to share a life and build a future with the person they love.

The Mosier’s💍

Being a photographer is a funny thing.

When it’s your sister’s wedding, every part of you wants to be the one behind the camera… but every part of you also wants to be fully present.

So while I couldn’t bring myself to completely hand over the reins, I found the next best thing, an associate shooter to help document the parts of the day that I couldn’t. It’s the best of both worlds, she shoots and I still get to be a sister and photographer by still editing and delivering photos.

The hugest shout out to for stepping in and helping a fellow photographer out. I knew I could trust her wholeheartedly with this special day for my family.
