Golden hour on my beloved North Shore āœØ
The North Shore is still recovering after all the recent storms, and itā€™s a reminder of how much this community means to so many of us. Until itā€™s time to fully be back, we hold onto these memories and support however we can šŸ¤
Alsoā€¦ counting down the days for summer ā˜€ļø you might think Hawaii is warm all year, but lately those early mornings and evenings have been chilly (at least for me haha) nothing like mainland cold, but still enough to make me want that extra summer warmth!

Throwing it back to this sweet surprise proposal from a couple years ago in California! Andrew & Carolā€™s proposal was so special, she had no idea what she was walking into šŸ˜
Theyā€™re married now (!!!) which makes this even more special to look back on! I love revisiting these moments and finally sharing gems that somehow never made it to the feed lol
Alsoā€¦ I miss California. SoCal was home for years before Hawaii, and it will always have a piece of my heart. Any excuse to go back makes it that much more special.
And yes, even though Iā€™m based in Hawaii, Iā€™ll absolutely fly to California for your proposal, engagement, elopement, or wedding šŸ¤āœˆļø

Their ceremony was something truly specialā€¦ surrounded by lush green mountains, in the most beautiful setting šŸŒæ
A moment that was both happy and a little bittersweet, Christy had her life partner right there with her on such an important dayā€¦ Nike šŸ¶šŸ¤
Sadly, after they received their wedding photos, Nike passed. And moments like this are exactly why photos mean so much. Not just as a photographer, but as someone who grew up flipping through photo albums for hours, carrying a camera everywhere, and getting lost in memories frame by frame.
To have something you can hold ontoā€¦ to look back and feel those moments again, especially when someone you love (human or furry) is no longer here, that is pricelessāœØ
