Yosephine and Michael’s wedding week was an experience! Throughout their multi day celebration there was a singular thread that connected all the days. This was their undeniable love, appreciation and relationship they have with every person they chose to celebrate with. I don’t know how they were able to create a group of friends who all exuded inner joy. The vibes were everything.

When manifestation happens. I have been dreaming and thinking about photographing people within the education system for almost a year. I’d day dream about doing these environmental portraits of professors at their universities or studios. Envisioning myself creating simple portraits of artists, historians, doctors, curators, educators etc.

Imagine my excitement when reached out about updated portraits for her use online and for conferences. Yes please!!!!

Hot take: I don’t meticulously edit to match my digital and film shots. Why? Because film is film and digital is digital. I use a combination of and to get my digitals close. But I dont necessarily use their matching profiles. I certainly don’t sit there tweaking the color mixer sliders to match the colors.

What I do: intuitively scan and process my film and then intuitively edit my digitals. Based on what I think looks “right”.
