Happy Father’s Day, You’ve raised two incredible boys—teaching them, guiding them, and shaping them into amazing young men. You balance patience and discipline with so much fun, and full of wisdom. I’m so grateful you learned from your dad how to be such a wonderful father, and now you’re passing those same lessons on to our sons. I know they’ll grow up to be just like you! Your sons are strong, kind, hardworking, secure in who they are and full of love. You did that. ❤️ we are all lucky to have you!

2025 = Our family’s year of milestones! Some cousins are moving on to bigger dreams with bachelor and master degrees, while these three are just getting started—one kindergarten grads + two high school grads = endless reasons to cheer!

Congratulations to these cousins and the 3 other cousins who got their degrees and are off ready to take on the world! So proud of all of you!

A letter to my son

Dear Mason,

You’ve come so far from being my little lunch date before Kindergarten—back when we’d drop off your older brother to school and sneak in our own adventures. We were so blessed to have that time together with Daddy working hard but still coming home to cook your favorite meals from scratch (some things never change!). I’ll always cherish those years, watching you grow under the guidance of the best teacher, your daddy and praying we’ve raised you to be kind, honest, and respectful in everything you do.

Your high school years have been a wild, wonderful ride—full of growth and hard-earned lessons. There were moments that tested you (and worried us!), but you never shut us out. Even when it was hard, you came to us to talk things through and you listened even when you didn’t want to. I’ve watched you hit lows and pull yourself back up, stronger each time. That’s the resilience that will carry you forward. You’re rooted in who you are, surrounded by love, and wise enough to know that tough times don’t last—but the lessons and the joy do. Life will always have its ups and downs, but you’ve already proven you can weather the storms and savor the sunshine.

You have set your sights on the skies—and beyond. The journey ahead will challenge you but every step will be worth it. Remember no matter how high you soar or how far the winds take you, mom and dad are always here—ready to lift you up, cheer you on, and stand by your side whenever you need us. May Day is Lei day

Itʻs May 1st and itʻs one of the busiest months. Why? We celebrate every high school senior graduating, Motherʻs day and we kick it off with May Day is lei day.

So kicking it off we we celebrate the vibrant tradition of Lei Day—a day dedicated to the beauty, culture, and aloha spirit of Hawaiʻi! Did you know this colorful tradition started in 1928? Poet Don Blanding and journalist Grace Tower Warren came up with the idea to honor the lei as a symbol of Hawaiian hospitality and love. The first official Lei Day was celebrated in 1929 with music, hula, and, of course, plenty of lei!

Now, every May 1st, Hawaiʻi bursts with lei-making traditions, festivals, and the crowning of the Lei Day Queen. I hope you are enjoying this beautiful tradition!
