A little Friday night throwback to these treats catching dog photos I did for last year.

If you guys have not tried doing treat catching photos with your dogs, I highly recommend it. I guarantee that it will be worth the struggle of timing your shots, or you can just do a slowmo video. If you'd like to see a tutorial on treat catching photos for phones, comment below.

Pet photography isn't always about the perfect posing or backgrounds. Most of the time it's the act of capturing a moment that embodies your pet. AKA catching crabs at the beach and using them as chew toys.

I have been so busy with Christmas sessions and catching up on school work that I haven’t had any time to be on social media. Hopefully I will find the time to post more and bring in more content for you all.

Demon slayer X went crazy! I’m so glad that I was able to bring this idea from demon slayer to real life. I’m definitely not a cosplay photographer in no way or form, but when there’s a dog involved I’m there (Extra points if it’s Ellie). I also think that valley of the temples on in Kaneohe is the perfect location for something like this. Let me know what you guys think!

Dax got a little sprinkling of gold ⭐️

This session with Dax was my first time ever trying to use gold flakes for dog portraits. Unforntuely we were running into issues in the start where we couldn’t get the gold flakes to stick. After everything we were barely able to get any gold dust to stay and not enough for the look we were going for. I decided to just photoshop the gold flakes to how we imagined it would look. This is a great reminder that failure is inevitable but there is always another option!

These photos are from an older shoot with Bruce and his family. I met them at the Hawaii pet expo and they really wanted an outdoor family photoshoot. Recently I have been loving more outdoor shoots, but this will definitely always be a favorite!
