I love word-of-mouth magic! A friend shared my business with her friend (whom I've never worked with), who then shared the info with her friend, which led to a mama who wanted to surprise her twin daughters- recent college graduates- with a photoshoot during their trip to Oahu.

Hi! I'm still here, upright and breathing (barely) after a wildly busy last couple of weeks. 😂 No lie. We've been eating dinner close to 9p almost every nights bec of it. *No judgement zone* 😂

School is out! We have a mini break from club soccer. My oldest started his first week of futsal academy for the summer, daughter is back to guitar after a 2- month hiatus due to her soccer schedule, and my 3 kiddos will temporarily go back to 1-2 BJJ classes a week. Woohoo! We have family and friends coming to visit this month (so excited!), a soccer tournament in Hilo, a week-long summer program for my daughter, and a few sessions sprinkled throughout. And then P**F! June is gone. What the heck... 😂

Wanted to do some updates to my website and start blogging again (bec it's been YEARS), but when I tried to upload media, I was rejected. I found out that I was over 400G over my space. 😆 Didn't realize it bec uploading galleries were done with no issues. WHOOPS! 😆

It's taken me three days to delete files to make room for improvements. I went from 533GB to 36GB. And 83k+ to 9k images. 😆 That was most definitely stressful, but I feel so much better now that it's done. 😆 Now if I can only do that with my phone, too. Lol! Time to update my website and start showcasing all of the awesome families and couples whom I've shot. There are so many!

The end of the school year is around the corner. We have end-of-the-year celebrations and a 5th Grade Graduation on our schedule.

Club soccer season is also supposed to be winding down, but rainout games are popping up, lol, and there are two more tournaments left on the schedule. And then the floodgates of soccer open tryouts will begin and decisions will have to be made. My kiddos are being pulled in several directions from different clubs, coaches, friends and family...

It's so easy to get swept up in chasing the kiddos and posing the whole family, but don't forget to step away for a moment during your family session just for the two of you. Your kids will one day cherish seeing the love and connection that built their world. 🥰 I know my kids do. They often ask to see old photos of us and hear the story of how we met.

And bowing out because you have little ones is not a good enough excuse for me. 😆 Trust me. I've been known to carry your cuties in one arm while I snap photos with my other. I've also been known to recruit the littles to be my assistants so I can snap a few photos of mom & dad together. I think it's important to have these photos included in your gallery, so I will get creative to make it happen.

There's no better way to greet the month of May than by draping ourselves in the colors and scents of the islands. Today is all about celebrating the beautiful tradition of the lei- a profound symbol of the ALOHA SPIRIT, representing love, affection, respect, honor, and hospitality in Hawaiian culture.
