Wow! So a month ago, I bent this anchor somehow.
Considering it's a 55lb galvanized steel, the bend is remarkable.
I dropped it off to my manufacturer and welder.
He had to cut it, press the parts back straight, weld it, then weld more plates on to it to reinforce it, and then cold galvanize spray the entire anchor.
Stronger than before.
Which I can attest to. We hooked it up and dropped it today. Then backed it down 1300 rpms (which locks the anchor into place with the engine).
We didn't move an inch.
Cheers to sleeping well at night and leaving the boat unattended knowing it's safe as can be!
