The biggest update yet — our family is officially moving to Hawai‘i this May. 🌺
And with this new adventure comes a new chapter for my business too.
Magnolia Hues Photography will be rebranding as Sarah James Photography as I begin serving couples and families in Hawai‘i and beyond. While the name and location are changing, my heart for documenting your stories in a real, joyful, cinematic way remains exactly the same.
To my North Carolina couples and families — thank you. Truly. So many of you have trusted me to capture some of the most important moments of your lives, and you’ve helped build this dream into what it is today. I’m endlessly grateful for each of you.
And to the incredible wedding vendors and photography friends I’ve had the privilege of working alongside — thank you for welcoming me into this community. I’ve made so many genuine friendships, meaningful connections, and helped create so many beautiful wedding days with all of you. I’m so thankful our paths crossed and I can’t wait to cheer you all on from afar.
And don’t worry — I’m not disappearing completely! I’ll still be traveling back for weddings and will be offering limited fall mini sessions in North Carolina this September and October while I’m in town.
As we make this transition, I’m now booking 2026 Hawai‘i weddings, elopements, and destination celebrations, and I cannot wait to see where this next chapter takes us.
