Mini update from me... I moved to Oahu in Hawaii! I've been here for a while now, but the transition between myself and my cats has been extremely hard for us. I had to take a break from my biggest passion, photography and editing. One of my cats still isn't doing well, so I'm not 100% settled in and relaxed yet, but I'm getting there. Once I moved here I wondered if my style of editing would change given the vibe and the scenery of the islands. I would say I've turned to a more contrasted approach, but that's something that has always had a special place in my heart ever since shooting and developing my own film. For many years I edited in a way that I thought was "in". Silly, I know. I still don't believe that every situation fits the same type of edit, so I will still be experimenting based on the person, situation, and overall mood. In general, expect to see more contrast work coming your way. I'm going to ease my way into booking sessions, to help with this transition. I'm excited to capture the beautiful moments of the locals, and those visiting this beautiful land. Stay tuned.

After some traumatic events and time spent focusing on healing, I've decided to rebrand.

Originally, I stumbled upon the definition of "Coalesce" which meant, to come together and form whole. Something about it clicked with that my goals were in regards to photography. I wanted to work with other individuals, creatives and other humans to create something beautiful, memorable, and timeless.

While that is still my end goal, I've spent a lot of time reflecting, and decided to shift my focus and be more intentional with my time and energy. ✨

The new name is still undecided, but I'll have something soon!
During this time, I'll be editing photos, both new and old to help establish my new focus.

The weather could not have been more perfect for Elizabeth & Vlad. We had initially planned to meet further south down the coast, but the weather definitely wasn't favorable. No one enjoys gusts of wind picking up sand from the beach just to land in their mouth as they say "I do". We rolled with the punches and decided to meet a little north at a location that I had visited earlier in the day, and I could not be happier with the results! Achieving those dreamy, beachy, pastels has been on my bucket list for a while and I finally got them with the help of these two :D When traveling for your elopement, I cannot stress enough how important it is to be flexible for your big day. Mother Nature has a mind of her own and you either go in head first, or go with your photographers back up plan. I'm not JUST a photographer, I'm a wedding planner, personal hype-woman, and location scouter! Things don't always go according to plan, but sometimes you have to roll with the punches, and at the end of the day, it's all about the experience, and what got you there to that very special moment!

A little different than my normal edits, but I'm feeling a rustic vibe today. Every once in a while, and depending on the overall mood of a photo, I like to break out those matte, dark, and yet still expressive colors. It brings almost a "quiet" moment to each image.
