This milestone session reminded me exactly why I became an Oahu family photographer. 🌅 Waikīkī family photos at sunrise are my favorite way to capture Oʻahu vacation memories if you're staying in Waikiki and want something quick/convenient —soft light, fewer crowds, and a calm start to the day.

If you’re visiting Hawaiʻi and looking for an Oʻahu family photographer, I recommend planning your session early in your trip while jet lag has you up anyway (especially if you’re coming from the mainland). It makes mornings feel effortless.

I photograph a lot of littles, but I also photograph a lot of teens and older kids every single week and I love this age group just as much! 💛

Morning light at Kahala Beach 🌞
Calm breeze, gentle waves, and a family of four soaking in every second of their Oʻahu vacation together.

These early morning sessions are some of my favorites — the light is soft, the beach is peaceful, and kids are usually happiest right after waking up (and maybe a muffin 😄). This sweet family laughed, snuggled, and ran barefoot in the sand — being together in a place that feels like paradise.
