Gosh it’s a beautiful Sunday! We went to the Hondo Nature Trail, picked up our weekly groceries, & stopped in for lunch at Jessi G's Deli & Sandwich Shop

This time I had the Roast Beef Sandwich on Rye, the hubby had the Ruben, and our son had The Classic on a sub. Only a picture of my sandwich, though.🤪

They also have samples out of locally made gluten free bread! I tried a sample as I was paying & it’s pretty tasty!

Loved seeing a steady stream of families walk in this afternoon as well!! Thank you for supporting small & locally owned shops!

What an incredible opening day for Jessi G's Deli & Sandwich Shop in Hondo, TX!

I got there at 7:30 am to get some pictures before their Ribbon Cutting with Historic Downtown Hondo at 8 am this morning! That was so much fun and a great way to start the day!📷🤩🥰🎗️✂️

I then went back for lunch at 12:30 with my dad who just turned 74 to enjoy our 1st of many sandwiches at the new deli! 🥪 The line was so long that it wrapped around and basically out the door!

When we ordered we were already order #103!!🤩 I ordered The Godfather & my dad ordered Roast Beef of Rye! 👌🏼

Congratulations to Jessi G’s Deli & Sandwich Shop! We’re so excited for you & your future!! Thank you all for coming out to support them from day 1!! 👏🏼

Also, be sure to check out all the beautiful art work available for purchase hanging on the walls throughout the Deli from Caliche Gallery while you wait for your order!!
