Recent work for latest Heritage Collection. ✨

It was such a joy to collaborate with Mary Grace — an artist and creator who continually inspires me — to photograph her and her husband’s latest collection in a way that reflects the timeless, lasting quality of each piece.

The entire shoot felt collaborative in the best sense, with Mary Grace stepping in front of the camera alongside our incredible model, creating space to experiment and respond to the light and textures in each setting while staying intentional and focused on capturing the pieces in a way that clearly communicates their quality and design.

Mothers have this quiet way of creating life everywhere they go — in their art, their homes, and the little ones they carry.

I recently photographed Mary at home in her studio — creating in more ways than one. Brush in hand, a growing belly, sunlight filling the room. It’s an honor to document these in-between seasons like this one with Mary — waiting, working, and preparing as new life begins to bloom.

Cheers to one year of the Blanco’s! 🥂

There are so many things I could say and images I could share from the gift of getting to capture their wedding weekend! Their time started sweet and intimate on a Friday afternoon at the courthouse but already overflowing with detail, intention and emotion…the flowers alone emitted such glory that brought me to tears instantly (by the absolutely brilliant )! It only grew from there as a beautiful dinner followed Friday evening at Botanic and then exploded all the more with their celebration on Saturday filled with all their closest friends and families.

It was a visual playground many dream of and the artistry and craft not only the wonderful vendors but from Irving and Leighann themselves shone so brightly. Truly a joy to be apart of witnessing their love for one another and their creative expression flourish for everyone invited to celebrate in.

A few of my favorite images from the last collection with last month. We had planned to be shooting on location somewhere I was really excited about but the shoot landed on the coldest day we had in December and we decided to change course last minute and shoot in studio (thanks for the space, !). Even though this shoot wasn’t what we initially wanted to do I really loved the simplicity and challenge of working with the natural winter light and bare walls to really let the pieces speak for themselves and bring them to life in post production too.
