Friends of G2,

Headed off to ride the back roads of North Eastern America, to see some cool stuff.
Started the trip with a short ride to Sanford. Fl. and caught the auto train to Washington DC.
Met some fellow riders on the Internet that were having a get together in behalf of the Honda VTX model Motorcycle.
I decided to stop by, and spent 24 hours in Virginia with them.
They fed me & let me pitch a tent in their backyard.
I came as a stranger, and left as a friend.
After I left Virginia, it started to rain.
And rain it did. Everyday for 5 days. Day & night.
But, it was OK. Nice and cool and I still saw so many beautiful roads, and country side of the USA.
One of the trip highlights was the auto road up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.
It is a private narrow road to the top. The trip was very exciting. The weather was sunny at the bottom.
I rode into a cloud as I made the 6 thousand foot climb.
Once I got to the top, it cleared up and it was a beautiful scene to see.
After that, I headed east to Maine and to my 48 hour stay in Acadia National Park. Had a great camp site in Blackwoods camp. Spent the next 48 hours riding around Mount Desert Island and taking a few photos. Temps were 50s at night 80s in the day. Couldn't be nicer weather.
After that, I put my head down, and got busy riding home.
It was a three day trip to home, starting with small roads and then to I-95 on the last day to be home with the family.
17 Days on the Road :0)
all 17 in my tent, and 80% of it was a two lane road.
It was a wonderful trip, with plenty of time for reflection of how I got this far along in my life.
Big thanks to all the people that made this trip possible for me.
I left to look for myself, and came back more lost than ever.
But after all, it is the trip and not the destination. RIGHT???
