LOVERZ! - I see you! 👀🥰

ANNNDD your love story deserves to be remembered. 💛

Not just the big milestones, but the little things that make your relationship yours - the way they look at you, the laughter you share, all the memories you’ve built together, and all the little thingss in-between.

Fall is such a beautiful time to slow down and document that chapter of your story.

I’m keeping my fall calendar limited so I can give each couple the time and attention needed to create something personal - not just a collection of pretty pictures, but images that actually feel like your relationship. 💛🙌

So if you’ve been talking about doing a couples session, consider this your sign. 🍂

Let’s tell your love story - exactly as it is right now.🥰📷

In a world that constantly tells us to move faster, grow faster, post more, and do more…

I’ve learned that **faster isn’t always better.**

To me, the businesses that leave a lasting impression are often the ones willing to slow down enough to really care - about their clients, their craft, their reputation, and the experience they create. 💛

You can’t rush trust.
You can’t fake connection.
And you can’t build something meaningful without being intentional about it.

As a business owner, I'm not just building something to sell.
I'm building something people experience.

Quality takes time. Connection takes intention.
And a meaningful business requires both. ✨

What are you choosing to be more intentional about in your business?

For the ones who know that a horse is never “JUST A HORSE.” 🐴🤎

If you’ve been thinking about documenting the bond you share with your horse, fall is such a beautiful time to do it.

I’m keeping my fall calendar intentionally limited so I can give each session the attention it deserves - taking the time to plan, create, and capture the little moments that make your relationship special.

Whether it’s your heart horse, your once-in-a-lifetime partner, or simply the horse who has been part of your story, these are the memories you’ll want to have.

🍂 Fall dates are limited.

If you’ve been saying, “I really want to do a session someday,” maybe this is your sign.

Reach out and let’s start planning something meaningful. 💛

How we build matters just as much as what we build.

• Work with purpose, not just for a paycheck.
• Be honest when no one is watching.
• Don’t confuse being busy with being productive.
• Take care of what you’ve been entrusted with.
• Let your work speak for your character.
• Be consistent in the small things... they eventually become the big things.

Which of these principles has been the biggest lesson for you in business?

🎓CONSIDERING A SENIOR SESSION?
🍂FALL DATES ARE LIMITED!

If you’re a parent or guardian thinking about gifting your senior a photography session this fall, now is the time to reach out.

I’m taking on a limited number of senior sessions this season because I want every senior I work with to receive the time, energy, creativity, and attention they deserve.

Senior portraits are about more than just pictures. They’re a chance to celebrate who your child has become and capture this exciting season before they take their next step.

A little planning goes a long way, so let’s get your consultation call scheduled.

🍂 Limited fall availability
🎓 Give them an experience they’ll remember, and memories you keep forever.💛

If you’ve been considering a senior session, reach out now to book your consultation.

✨WHAT YOU SEE / WHAT I SEE✨

You see a photographer hunkered down, camera in hand, taking a few pictures.

I see 20 years of experience happening in a matter of seconds.

I’m thinking about manual camera settings, light, color, lens choice, composition, posing, movement, equine behavior, connection, timing, expressions, distractions, and everything happening around me that you may never notice... even the little things I have no control over - like which way the wind decides to blow.

And then, after the session, there’s the editing... the decisions that shape what you ultimately see.

I’ve spent years learning how to make all of that look effortless.

And I think sometimes that’s where the misunderstanding happens.

Because when you make something look easy, people assume it *is* easy.

But effortless is rarely the absence of effort.

Sometimes it’s what 20 years of experience looks like.
And don't get me wrong... until my last breath, I will forever be a work in progress.

But perhaps that's also a reminder to pause before trying to negotiate someone's worth down to what you think it should be.

Consider the years of time, energy, sacrifice, investment, and experience someone has poured into becoming good at what they do.

You don't have to place the same value on their craft that they do.

But you should respect that the value is there.💛

Sometimes the hardest person we'll ever learn to truly see is ourselves.

I've started to believe that photographs aren't just memories.

They're mirrors.🪞

Sometimes they reflect who you've been.
Sometimes they remind you who you are.
And sometimes they introduce you to the person you're becoming.

But the thing is...

You don't always feel ready to meet that person.

Sometimes you have to step in front of the camera while you're still nervous. While you're still questioning yourself. While you're still waiting to feel "ready."

Because the process of being seen can be the very thing that helps you see yourself clearly.

And when you finally see yourself clearly, you stop shrinking yourself to fit into spaces that were never meant for ALL OF YOU.✨️

The photos aren't just about how you look.

They're a reminder of who you chose to become.
So be intentional and continually grow to make YOU proud of yourself. 💛

Oh! - and before you scroll away...

Where have you been waiting to feel ready before allowing yourself to be seen?

One thing I will always admire about people willing to step in front of my camera is how they're open to trusting me with an idea... regardless of how awkward or unimpressive it may feel in the moment.❤️

It takes vulnerability to be photographed.

To slow down.
To try something different.
To let someone else tell a small piece of your story.

I’m grateful for the people in my life who allow me to create, experiment, and continue growing as an artist.

Thanks to Missa, James, Suggie, & Zelda I was able to capture these gems with the Good Ole Dodge. ❤️

Maybe the photograph was never the point...
Maybe the point was deciding your life was worth documenting before it became a milestone.

Because one day...

This ordinary Wednesday.
This drive down a back road.
This fence.
These fields.
These boots.
This sunset.

Won't feel ordinary anymore.
