Bryan's Looking Glass Photography / BLG Photography We are a disabled veteran-owned photography business committed to capturing life's special moments. Events can be from a birthday party to graduation party.

We provide great experiences and high-quality images at an amazing price. Whether portraits or events, we make every session enjoyable and memorable. I'm a disabled veteran whose love for photography has expanded to freelance work. I am available to shoot events, special occasions, and anything you want to cherish in a photo. 🌟 Thank You, Everyone! 🌟

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you, to everyone who supported me during my bid to be the Face of Halloween. While I didn’t take home the win, I’m incredibly proud to have placed around 15th out of more than 550 contestants. That’s something I’ll always be grateful for.

What this experience showed me is that people are watching even more than I realized. And with that, I’ve learned that I have an opportunity to do something meaningful with that attention.

A little over two years ago, with help from the disc golf community in Mid-Missouri and St. Louis, and an amazing partner at the Truman VA, I was able to help start a local disc golf outreach program for veterans. I’ve seen firsthand how it’s changed lives to including my own. Disc golf gave me a reason to get out, stay active, and replace gloom and doom with purpose and connection.

Now, I want to take this to the next level, nationally. I want to see veterans across the country find what we’ve found here: community, confidence, and peace through disc golf.

Earlier this week, I was back in 1st—but slipped again.

Tonight marks 20 years since I left Fort Campbell, boarding a plane to Kuwait on what would become a year-long deployment to Iraq.

I didn’t carry a camera then. Just a rifle, a rucksack, and a head full of questions.

What I saw changed me, scenes I can never forget. Faces of friends, moments of fear, and flashes of brotherhood that will stay etched in my mind forever.

I didn’t know it back then, but that deployment would sharpen my eye, not just for photography, but for truth. For grit. For raw, unfiltered emotion.

To the men of Cobra Nation, thank you for shaping me. You taught me more than I ever could’ve learned in any classroom or through any lens. Because of you, I don’t just take photos—I tell stories.
