Where do you find the best color?

On the side of the highway.
In ditches.
In people’s private yards.
In the back 40 of a farm.
And in parking lots.

Not exactly the places you’d expect, but some of the best spots are the ones most people drive right past without a second thought.

In the middle of THE busiest weeks of my entire year, I took a chance on a brand-new spot along the side of the road last night. I’m so glad I did, and even more glad Claudia and Aaron were willing (and genuinely excited) to go along with my idea.

Turns out, sometimes this is what you get when you are willing to shoot in the ditch.

My favorite little family, once a wedding couple at my favorite venue, my dark and moody loving people now have two little boys and always make a point to hang out when they are back in town visiting family
