Countless sacrifices. So much courage. A whole lot of hard work. And a mama who never stopped fighting to give her kids the best future!

These photos are so much more than an empty house. They capture the beginning of a new chapter, one that was earned through perseverance and refusing to give up!

I am all about taking photos in the most meaningful places, and sometimes that means right at home. 🤎

At the house you’ve spent weekends renovating.
With the thrifted pieces you’ve collected one by one.
By the record player that’s always spinning.
On the front porch where you slow down together.
Where the dogs never leave your side.
With the chickens in the backyard.
Or in your favorite chairs, where you begin and end most of your days.

Just as the banner hanging in their home says, “Together is a beautiful place to be.”

Because these aren’t just photos of what life looked like.

I know I always say this, but one of the greatest gifts of this job is getting to watch families grow… and sometimes that includes the fur babies too 🤎

Finley has been there for it all. From the days when they were just 17 with a puppy they adored, to walking down the aisle on their wedding day, to maternity sessions, newborn photos, and all the beautiful chapters in between.

Finley wasn’t just present for their all their best memories, she was part of them.

When Jess asked me to capture one more session with their sweet girl, it was an immediate yes. These are the photographs that matter. The ones that freeze a season we wish could last forever.

My heart breaks knowing this chapter is coming to an end, but what a beautiful life Finley has lived…. so deeply loved from beginning to end. 🤍
