About 10 years ago, I was taking pictures of what I thought was dead tree with the sunset sinking into Lake Michigan behind it. When I looked at the pictures I was able to capture, I knew I found something I might be good at. Three cameras and 10 years later, I am finally sharing my art with anyone and everyone that wants to see it. I am for sure no professional and have taught myself most of the techniques I use for taking shots. I see a picture waiting to be captured everywhere I turn.

Was able to capture some of the Aurora last night. She started out timid and shy, but then all of a sudden she realized how beautiful she truly is and gave us a stunning spectacular show. I wish I could have stayed up all night to capture more. But I am forever grateful for the time I did get outside enjoying her beauty. Finally got to see her dance. Loved finally being able to get some shots of the beauty of the Northern Lights. Friday night we ran into some cloud cover which created some interesting shots. And last night we went out front to just take a peek before going to bed and caught about 15 minutes of the tail end of the flare up. Definitely filled up this sky geeks meter. 💜🩷💚💙🌌🌘
