After another year of medical anomalies and disappointments, I was truly just looking forward to some quality time with when she asked if I could photograph retreat this past weekend. Little did I know ✨ALL✨ God would gift to me. To try and put words to the weekend - well they just continue to fall short. I’m overwhelmed by a new community of friends who have covered me in prayer as I head into another unknown medical situation.

God truly does go before you friend. My quiet time this morning was intentional and slow. Slowed down so that the spirit of God could wash over me. Restore me. Grant me with the strength that I need for today.

Borrow Faith. When you can’t pray. Tell a friend. Tell them you need them to pray for you and that you need them to lift your arms. The posture of praise truly does remove the focus on ourselves. Thankful for this treasure of a weekend. ♥️

Two Hearts. 💕I love a good impulsive tattoo but I love that this one is a heart from both of my loves. Olivia drew one tonight and sent it to me while I was standing at the tattoo shop. Jeff’s came from the first note he ever gave to me 18 years ago. I don’t hold on to a lot of things but this 16 year old boy left a rose and this note on my car and I knew I loved him then. ❤️ Sorry, Mom. It is not a sharpie.

It’s Birthday Month ✨And it’s started with my first pair of shoes. This journey feels like the biggest uphill battle.🫠 I’m stubborn and just want to wiggle my nose and see this weight gone. But, I’ve had 4 surgeries in 18 months. I’m dealing with issues I’ve never had before… I’m tired and defeated most days. But I have to get healthy. It’s not an option for me to keep feeling like this soo it’s the year of health. Healthier choices, less coke, more water - maybe a parasite cleanse?! Feels like someone maybe needed a reminder to take it slow and easy. Start with just walking a half a mile or even to the mailbox and back. You’ve got this. Little by little ✨❤️ But… don’t encourage me.. just ask my friends. 😂
