I'm sharing this post from one of my personal branding clients. I photographed Jody a few years ago for images for her website, social media, and marketing collateral. She is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and author of "Money Messages: Get Out of the Red and Into the Green, Emotional and Financial Freedom to Transform Your Life" (which I personally read and highly recommend!) At that time, she had long, blond hair. She came back for a 2nd photoshoot, this time with shorter hair and in her natural color.
Her post underscores an important point in personal branding: When you change your hair length and/or color be sure to schedule a new headshot/branding photoshoot. You want all of your images to be current across all platforms and in your marketing material. This is a prerequisite to gaining your audience's trust. Jody knew this and looks just as amazing today as she did a few years ago!
If you have any concerns about when it's time for a new headshot, shoot me a message and I'll answer any questions.

It was time to get a new headshot. Two years ago, I had longer hair I dyed blonde. When COVID happened, I let it grow really long and then got it cut to donate for cancer patients. I like my hair it's natural color. The reaction from other women has been mixed. Although I previously didn't think about it much, the epiphany in this experiment is realizing how much hair matters to so many women, especially in the business world. I'm grateful I'm alive today and still have hair! Thank you to Elle Forte Photography for such a fun session, and to Madison (such a kind person) who did my makeup and hair. Elle, you have such a way of making me feel comfortable and capturing my personality!
