I hope she always finds peace with her hand on a horse’s face and dirt beneath her feet. May she grow up knowing that strength can be gentle, courage can be quiet, and the best adventures rarely happen indoors. 🤍🐴

Some sessions are about beautiful photographs.

Some are about preserving a piece of someone’s heart.

I’ve had the privilege of photographing Giuliana through so many chapters of her life—branding images for her business, her engagement, her wedding… and now, one of the hardest chapters of all.

This week, she’ll say goodbye to a best friend who has been by her side for years.

End-of-life sessions are never easy, but they are some of the most meaningful photographs we can create. They freeze the little things we don’t realize we’ll miss someday—the way they look at you, the gray around their muzzle, the familiar touch of a hand resting on their head.

As photographers, we’re invited into some of life’s most sacred moments. It’s a responsibility I’ll never take for granted.

Giuliana, thank you for trusting me, once again, with your story. It has been an honor to document your life’s milestones—the joyful ones and the heartbreaking ones. I hope these images become a place you can always return to whenever you want to feel close to your sweet boy again. 🤍

Some photographs aren’t just memories.
They’re a way of holding on when it’s finally time to let go.

Sometimes the loudest love is spoken without a single word. ❤️🐴

Just a little girl and the horse who has captured her heart.

These quiet moments—the forehead touches, the trust, the gentle breaths shared between them—are the ones that mean the most. They remind us that the best partnerships aren’t built in a day… they’re built one ride, one hug, and one moment at a time.

Reese & Savage. 💙

Twisted M is raising more than riders—they’re raising horsemen with kind hearts and deep connections. And moments like this are exactly why we do what we do.

Every buckle tells a story. ✨🏆🐴

Early mornings. Long rides. Dust, determination, and countless hours in the saddle. None of these wins happened by accident.

Makaila and her mare, Dolly, have earned every one of these buckles together—a partnership built on trust, consistency, and heart. Capturing moments like this is about so much more than taking a beautiful portrait. It’s preserving the journey behind the achievements.

These are the images that become family heirlooms long after the ribbons are packed away.

Some horses photograph beautifully.

Some horses take care of people.

Savage does both. ❤️🐴

This was my third session photographing this incredible gelding from Twisted M Stables, and he never disappoints. Not only is he absolutely stunning in front of the camera, but what stands out most is his heart.

Every rider who climbs on his back leaves with a little more confidence than they started with. He quietly takes care of his people, meets them where they are, and reminds us why good horses are worth their weight in gold.

Watching Reese and Savage together felt effortless—just a little girl, a good horse, and the kind of trust that can’t be faked.

These are the moments I love capturing most. ❤️

Behind every final image is patience, connection, tiny adjustments, and a whole lot of trust.
Jacob spent time riding our sweet pony, getting comfortable, laughing, exploring, and simply being himself while I walked alongside him making sure everything felt safe and natural.

These sessions are never about forcing perfect poses — they’re about creating an experience children actually enjoy. The final portraits are just the beautiful result of those genuine moments 💛

Some bonds don’t need words.
They’re built quietly over years… through trust, healing, routine, and unconditional love.

This sweet soul is 30 years old, and for the last 15 years, Rebecca has loved her through every season of life. These photos weren’t just a session — they were a way to hold onto a connection that time can never replace.

The gray hairs, the soft eyes, the familiar touch… this is what memories look like.

Our animals are never “just horses.”
They become part of our story, our comfort, our home.

And sometimes the most important thing we can do is preserve that love before it becomes a memory. 🤍

You need to be in the photos too 🤍

I see it all the time — people wanting beautiful images of their horse… but hesitating to step in front of the camera themselves.

But the truth is, it’s not just about your horse.
It’s about your connection.

The way they look at you.
The way your kids grow up with them.
The quiet moments you don’t think to document.

Because years from now, these won’t just be “horse photos.”
They’ll be the images that take you right back to this season.

And if you’re a mom… you already know how fast that goes.

This is what you’ll want to look back on 🤍
