📸 LAST-MINUTE SUMMER FUN FOR KIDS WHO LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY!

I have a few spots available for my 3-Day Summer Photography Workshop in Hoboken next week!

📅 August 24–26
⏰ 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Hoboken
📸 Ages 9–13

Over three mornings, kids will get hands-on experience exploring photography, learning about composition, lighting, perspective, portraits and visual storytelling — while getting out and actually taking pictures!

And you don’t need a fancy camera to participate. Kids can bring a digital camera, point-and-shoot, or even a phone. I also have a limited number of DSLR cameras available for students to use during the workshop.

This is a small-group workshop, so students get plenty of individual attention.

Know a creative kid who is always taking pictures? This could be a great way to finish out the summer. 📷

Registration needs to be finalized by Saturday at noon.

At Miss Marie's Summer Photo Camp....

Can a 10-year-old learn to "see" like a photographer in just one day? 📷

These images were created by one of my 10-year-old students after just ONE day at Summer Photography Camp.

Our assignment was to look beyond the obvious and photograph textures, lines, and shapes. Instead of simply taking pictures of objects, students learned to slow down, observe, and discover interesting patterns, reflections, and details that most people walk right past.

Photography isn't just about learning how to use a camera—it's about learning to see the world differently.

I couldn't be prouder of what this young photographer accomplished after just one day!

If your child (ages 10-14) enjoys being creative, wants to build confidence, and would love to learn photography in a fun, encouraging environment, I'd love to have them join us.

What can a 13-year-old create after just ONE day at summer photography camp? 📸

These four images were captured by one of my students after just one day of learning photography fundamentals, composition, and how to see the world through a creative lens.
I'm so proud of what these young photographers accomplish in such a short time!
