I almost never take photos of plants. But love the result of this photo. I mean the sun was really bouncing off of the flowers petals resulting in heavy highlights and deep shadows. It was so rich that I barely had to touch/mess with those levels.

One of my main focus points for this shot was the sun. I took some time slightly inching over to the left until I had the sun placed exactly where I wanted it. Everything else I worked on hiding/getting out of the shot like the car and part of the railing!

Shooting your friends is one thing. But shooting a friend that’s practically family is amazing! Really took the pressure of but kept the bar high in producing great stills.

Photoshop, Lightroom, RAW. I loved the results drone everyone of their photos from every step of the way. Whether straight out of camera or out of Lightroom I was obsessed. I have a couple other favorites up my sleeve that I will for sure post later! 🙌🙏

Showed up a couple hours early for my meeting at the studio yesterday and decided to use that time to walk around and take in the beauty of the Art Factory. This was def therapeutic. This was one of the first shots I took. I normally never use my first shots because I consider them to be warm up shots. Like I’m usually like ehh I’m never gunna use these but good to have anyways. Then I checked out these bad boys and was like yaaaaaasssss I’m using some of these 💀. I basically shot everything with my Samyang 18mm. And I must say, I love this lens. Super cheap and gives me good results. I’m not mad at it.

Loved how this photo came out! Def been wanting to work with fishing line for a while now to develop this look. I thought it would be an annoying thing to do but it’s actually borderline effortless!

The process is simp. I just took a safety pin and drilled it through four of my pups treats and made a double knot because making one single knot was not enough! Then it was my wife’s idea to tie them to chopsticks 🥢 so it would be easier to control each dog treat.

Throughout the entire shoot I stayed manual instead of AF so I had full control of what I wanted in focus. Shooting this in auto focus would be pretty tough as you focus would be jumping all over the continent.

After have a great time with a bunch of different angles and whatnot, I chose a couple of my selects and fired up Photoshop. I got rid of the fishing line by using my content aware tool and the clone tool and BAM 💥!

This was fun! I’m seriously praying for more rain so I can grab more moody images! Super intense shooting in heavy rain!

This is a new type of look that I got off of ! If you would like to grab this look def check out their page on YouTube. They’re the reason my page looks the way it looks! This one is called “Faded Moody”.

The crazy thing about Astro photography is that you’re never gunna get it the first time around. Well I mean if you always do this maybe. But if your like me not a chance. It takes a while because you’re waiting at 15 to 30 second intervals per photo. But once you nail it you’ll love it. Just bare a little patience and knock it out of the park.

Hey guys! A couple of simple edits here. If you look at the before photo. You will see the rail handle sitting up on the bottom right side of the photo. That stuck out way too much in the photo and what’s unfortunate is that I didn’t see that when shooting. Kind of frustrating when you load up your photos and you begin to edit them and your like...”why is this there” haha. Def need to keep a closer eye on my surroundings. This way I won’t have to do that much editing in post.

To remove the rail I jumped into Photoshop and used both the clone tool and content aware tool. This took a good while to edit and I must have been zoomed in 4000x’s in my photo to make some edits. Patience was tested.

After my Photoshop Edit I moved on over to Instagram and added the “Clarendon” filter onto my photo. I set its opacity to 53 to to make it not as strong on my photo but just cinematic enough. Then to touch a little on lighting I decided to boost the”Lux” up to about +23! And this was my result.

One of my many drone shots from DR! Snapped this on my bachelor party like a year and a half ago. I really enjoyed hanging out with all of my guy bro’s and just shootin the ish! This weekend was a blurrrr but a great blur!

I really love the results of these edits! It’s extremely simple to pull off! Once you have loaded your image into photoshop, open up camera raw if it did not open immediately. You can also do this by selecting the cmd + shift + A keys. You can also check out webflippys YouTube channel! I’m telling you all their content is fire! How do you think my photos look so good? Haha

Jumping into the basic edits here. Ok so...

Temp: +5
Tint: +33
Exposure: 0
Contrast: -62
Highlights: +10
Shadows: -20
Whites: 0
Blacks: 30
Texture: 0
Clarity: +50
Dehaze: 0
Vibrancy & Saturation: 0

At this point you have to mess with the curves a little. Slightly pop up your whites and highlights then crush your blacks. Lift the left side of your curve line up a little. (This creates that subtle moody fade to your image).

Now where the magic starts to take place is when you start adjusting your color mixer!!!

In the Hues you want these settings! REDS +10 | ORANGE 0 | YELLOWS -50 | GREENS and everything else 0. Then, still in Color Mixer move over to the saturation tab and adjust your colors to this! REDS 0 | ORANGE -10 | YELLOWS -90 | GREENS and the rest of the colors to -100. Once that is all set drop down to Effects and drop you vignetting to -25.

I really hope you guys give this a try! I would love to see the results and what you guys come up with! @ Puerto Plata Dominican Replublic

I’m really loving this moody grade! This was another gorilla style shot. Basically sneaking in a couple shots as I crossed the street. I had time to set the shot up in my head before crossing the road. I think I took about 5/6 photos of this particular shot a couple vertical and some horizontal. Loved the look of the vertical shot more. It’s like the shadows coming off of both buildings is guiding your eyes directly towards One World.

Even though the clouds were more than enough to fill the photo, I still really wanted to drive it up a bit more and add in sone birds. I thank for supplying with that shot he took.

If you guys check out pexels.com you can find free stock photo & video of just about everything. I use this to give some of my photos a bit more life.

Love what you do!
