Two years ago today, I left behind my comfort, family, and friends to pursue the American dream.
It was a mix of excitement and nervousness as I entered this new foreign land. However, living that dream isn't all easy; it's more like an exciting roller coaster.
As a student, we face numerous challenges to keep our status in the US while working toward our goals.
Emotionally, we miss the comfort of home and struggle with homesickness, making us question if it's worth it. But deep down, I know it is.
My inspiration was my grandfather, who left a small village for Mumbai with just a suitcase, aiming not only for himself but for his family's future. If he had given up, I wouldn't be where I am today.
Now, holding an MS degree in Business Intelligence & Analytics, I feel incredibly proud. This achievement, a dream for many, is now my reality.
I'm truly thankful to my entire family and friends for their unwavering support.
Here's to new beginnings and the exciting journey ahead. 🥂
