I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus from portrait photography…

Why? Having a nasty client made me realize that I wasn’t enjoying it as much as I used to. I still do photos for friends and occasional shoots (which I love, don’t get me wrong), but I’m awful with posting and keeping up with them. And I’ve realized at this current time in my life, maybe taking a step back with portraits is what makes the most sense for me. But I have a ton of photos from traveling that I’m going to share here for now cause it’s still my photography 💜

There’s something about taking photos of kids and their parents actually let them be kids!! I’ve taken photos where the parents are so incredibly critical if the kid doesn’t do exactly what they were envisioning. Natalie’s mom let her be NATALIE and it was so fun seeing her personality come out!! I climbed up in the tree with her and that’s when her real smile came out the most!! I hope you had the best birthday beautiful girl!! 💙

Wayyyyy late on posting these, but they were too cute to not post!! Crazy that Doug & Grace took a chance on me doing their engagement photos having never done engagement photos before back then, to be able to take these photos for them made me so incredibly happy! Plus, they surprised me with it!! Trying to take photos of their genuine smiles from them surprising me while also being surprised was challenging 😂
