I finally made it up to the White Mountains this summer! It was definitely a big reminder for me to get out more. I took this shot without the use of a tripod and somehow it still came out sharp (there were three others that I took of this water fall that were total fails.)

More shots from Garwin Falls! I was playing with a new 10-Stop ND filter that lets you crank up the shutter speed. This gives the "soft water" effect. I also experimented with an ultra fast shutter speed too. It really captures the tumultuous action of the water and maybe is a little less cliche. Which one do you like more the slow shutter or the fast shutter photos?

I hiked up the mountain after work with my drone and stayed until sunset with a few friends. Usually it's very windy on the summit, but this day I was lucky to have a calm climate.
