You guys….I am so incredibly excited with how last nights engagement session turned out that I have had consistent goosebumps for about the last 16 hours😂 This was one heck of an adventure, and can’t wait for your wedding! Seriously though….I don’t think I could ever tire of looking at these…thank you for such an amazing time❤️

I think I'm going on a B&W spree...bear with me! .I absolutely LOVE color photography. Genuine, true to life, and beautiful is how I would explain it. But when it comes to black and white, there is something so incredibly special about it. Not every photograph can be B&W, but the very special, close, loving moments. Ya know, the ones that give you goosebumps when you see it? Yeah those ones. I Sprinkle it lightly throughout all of my sessions and weddings, but there are some that will hold a special place in my heart for years to come…like this one❤️

Okay, here's what I guess you could call part 2 of this "series". If you haven't read the story of the last image I posted, it may help with context.
This is along the same lines, but of a totally different situation. This little girl was needing a father figure in her life, and when her mom met this man, it was as if it were meant to be. She danced with him, held on to him, and didn't want to ever let go. The best part you may ask? He treated her the exact same way. Melted...Like actual butter. Think I'm joking? I can show you the mop they used to clean me off the floor!
On a serious note though, here's to all the amazing parents out there that bring children into their lives. Whether they are parents already, or this is their first rodeo. When someone who is not a biological parent, treats a child like a treasure of the earth, it makes me so incredibly happy. Now couple that with being able to capture it for them to have for generations, and I can die a happy man.

I have a couple photos coming, to highlight a different part of weddings now days.
Quite often, There is a child in the relationship, or another from a previous relationship. I know this personally, and life doesn't always go as you had planned in your mind when you were a young adult.
That being said, this was literally one of the sweetest father son relationships I have had the pleasure of photographing. He even had socks made with pictures of his son on them. **Side note, he was at another wedding I shot after this, and was wearing a new pair of socks with his son on them as well. This little guy was having a bit of trouble getting ready, as there was a lot of commotion in the room, and with the day in general. So what does his dad do? Embraces him. He shows him safety. My heart quite literally melted!

This shot, far several reasons, just so happens to be in my top 5 photos ever taken. Every step of the day happened the way it did so we could be in this exact place, at this exact time. Now, it's captured forever. I don't know what I would do without the love I have for weddings❤️
