I haven’t posted in a little while but I figured it was long overdue. 😌

This by far is one of my most favorite trails to do in West Virginia. 🧡 The view here is always breathtaking. This is also the trail where I accidentally ran into a Black Bear Cub. 😅 🐻 That was definitely quite the experience lol.

Anyways, the sunsets here never disappoint and you can see across the mountains to the Virginia border. I’m grateful that this is one of the last photos I was able to capture of Fall last year. 🍁

The trail is called High Rocks Trail.

I took this when I visited Ocean City, MD for the first time back in August of 2022. While I much preferred visiting Assateague, which is only about 30 minutes from here, I randomly stumbled upon this place as I was leaving. The view and the sunset from this pier was absolutely lovely and it didn’t have all of the crowds that Ocean City itself tends to have. Even though it’s been about two and a half years since I’ve been to this place I do think of it from time to time and hope to be able to return to it this year. 😌🌊☀️

This reminds me of the warmer days to come with all of the beautiful spring blooms. 🌼 This is by far my most favorite botanical garden that I have visited yet. I can’t wait to come back again this spring and explore Richmond let alone Virginia some more. It’s always a pleasure being there. 😄

Happy 2025 from this Texan!! 🎉😆

It’s definitely been a while since I’ve posted or shared any of my work. I’ve had to take a few months off due to a few changes to different circumstances in my life. However, I am getting ready to get back into the swing of things here very soon and I hope to be able to capture winter here in Appalachia before it leaves us and then onto spring. I’ve definitely got a few plans/ideas that I’m working on. So, until then, please enjoy this photo of the lovely and stunning Germany Valley. 😌☁️

I finally took a day off from work and got the chance to visit Kentucky for the day to do some hiking. This is the second trail I’ve ever done in Kentucky and it definitely did not disappoint to say the least. The sunset yesterday was absolutely stunning and I got to randomly meet a bunch of fellow hikers up top as we all shared our different hiking stories. 🌅 It’s not some of my best photography but as far as the views go I definitely plan on coming back and exploring more of the trails here. 😄

I took this one on the drive back to my Airbnb after a hike I did near Goshen, Virginia back in July. 🥾 I was driving through the countryside and knew I had to stop and capture these lovely creatures. 🐃 Also, the sunset had the perfect timing as well. 😆

A Summer of Lilies💐

One of the pleasant surprises I discovered when I visited Pennsylvania for the first time, back in June, was that you’ll see these all over the place on the sides of the road. I knew I had to capture these stunning flowers blooming in the summer sun. ☀️

The sunsets in the Virginia countryside are just different. 🌄🌥️

I took this on my most recent trip to Virginia back in July. This was taken near Monroe, VA. One of the many reasons why I am so fond of Virginia is because you can always find views like this just peeking over the mountain ridges.

Here’s a photo I took way back in 2019 around Christmas time when I was still in Texas. I used to visit this Lakeshore at Lake Worth about twice a week and just watch the sunset and ponder over the things of life. ⛅️🌅

For all of my Appalachian folks, Texas is very, very flat in the Northern part of the state. You can definitely see out for miles. It’s so much different than up here with all endless mountains(which I so happen to love!).⛰️🌳

Alright, alright, alright, I am BACK from my brief hiatus! 😆

Please forgive me for not posting much the last two months. I’ve definitely been going through the typical ups and downs of life. We all have those times when life gets a little more busier and hectic for a season and then we also have the times where it slows down a bit for a while. I lost one of my pups who I had for over a decade and also just adapting to changes at work. Although, I have still been capturing photos throughout the last two months so I do have many, many photos that I can’t wait to share with everyone. 😄📸

I recently got to celebrate my birthday this year in Pennsylvania. 🎉 It was my second time ever in that lovely state and I’m grateful for another year to be alive. I was finally able to visit the lovely Hershey Gardens and it did not disappoint. Here’s one of many photos I snapped while I was there. 🌸

Here’s another photo I snapped when I was visiting Grandview back in May. The lovely Mountain Laurel are blossoming on the mountaintop. 🌸🌤️

This was my first time seeing them in person. They are such a peculiar and interesting flower. We definitely don’t have these in Texas. 😆

The “Timeless View” as I call it. 🌤️🌳
No matter what season it is it remains picturesque at all times.

I was able to visit Babcock State Park again about two weeks ago and got to spend some time at this serene spot. It’s definitely one of my favorite views I’ve seen so far and a great place to ponder over the things of life. 🙂
