Clients I want to be honest and transparent with you; I am probably being too vulnerable but, I feel that it is needed. It’s been a rough last year and a half. I have been up to my eyeballs in tasks and things I need to do and curveballs being thrown my way. My load on the professional, mom, and personal life has been a lot. I have fallen short in all three areas and it has taken a toll on me. I returned galleries way later than expected, have tasks that I have still yet to complete, and have more things piling up from all parts of my life. I have been and am in a rough spot mentally and I am trying to work through it all the best I can. So if I have inconvenienced anyone this past year and a half I apologize and just know I have thought about everyone and everything a lot! To those of you who have been understanding I truly appreciate you more than you know! 🫶🫶🫶

Just know that I am working through some things and am trying to prioritize my time and energy in the places that need it most.

With that being said, I have a few things that will be changing as far as photography.

1. I will no longer be offering half an hour sessions unless you are willing to do them on my farm or they are within 10 minutes from my house. I can no longer travel over 45 minutes for a 1/2 an hour session that I don’t charge a travel fee for and takes all evening to travel for 30 minutes of photos. (If you already have one scheduled this does not affect you!)

2. I will no longer be prioritizing weekends for photo sessions unless you are a couple that has booked me for your wedding and need an engagement
session or if I schedule minis. Weekends are the only time I get to spend with my family as a whole without us running around doing 100 things. And I usually have weddings on Saturdays so I need some time with my family. So, weekdays in the evening will be offered first before weekends. If I do allow weekends it will more than likely be one or two days during the month. (If you already have one scheduled this does not affect you!)

3. I have decided to only take on 10 weddings for next year. Although I love shooting weddings and feel that it is my niche, I need some weekends free to relax from all the chaos during the week from school and sports and other things. It is just too much to juggle. I also want to be able to offer more for those clients and give the best work I can to them. I currently have 7 dates left for 2027 at this point.

4. My hours to respond are a lot shorter than normal with working another job and the boys getting older and being involved in more things. The most common times that I am able to respond are Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm during school time. Weekends are less likely to get a speedy response from me. I’m not going to say that I’m not going to respond the other times; just don’t be alarmed if I don’t as quickly during those times. I am known to stay up late after the kiddos are in bed so I can focus so, you may sometimes receive responses during late times.

5. If I offer any discounts for weddings it will be for bundling things or paying off your balance early. I have found that the people that book with discounts are not clients that truly are passionate about my work or staying with me as a client

Find a friend who you can also take photos with!

This engagement session I hold a little closer and am so thankful I was able to capture Ella and Mitch’s love and am honored and excited to be able to capture their wedding day later this fall!! We got to take their photos last fall on one of Mitch’s family farms which was so cool for me because it was the first place I met them 5 years ago to take couples photos of them.

Ella and I started shooting weddings together 5 years ago and the rest has been history! We still shoot together at weddings or livestock shows and sometimes when life isn’t so busy we meet up for lunch! I am so thankful for our friendship and will treasure it forever! 💕

I can’t wait for the big day and I know you will be the most beautiful bride ever!

Happy 4th of July!!! Everyone go out and have a great ol’ time like the Jankowskis!!!

Jazmine and Ashton’s wedding was definitely one for the books and this won’t be the only post I share from their big day!!!

The party will go down in the books as one of my faves!

How do you want to remember your wedding day?

Sophia and Dominic opted for a beautiful summer wedding and it had the backyard summer bonfire party vibe! Dancing under the lights and bull riding under the beautiful summer sky!! They included yard games, an open bar, mechanical bull riding, dancing under the string lights, and hanging out! I’d say their wedding has been one of my favorites! Making sure you include things that make your night memorable and relaxing and enjoying your day make it all worth while!

Hey Guys!!!

Schools out. Vacation is over. I can breathe now a little bit! I’m sharing a beautiful elopement I had the opportunity to capture this past weekend in Florida! Everything was so beautiful and I don’t think there was a dry eye during the ceremony! I have taken photos of Casey and her son Aiden over the years and was so honored to capture this important milestone in their lives!! The way Shaun looks at Casey tells you just how much he loves her!! I wish you guys all the best!

Now that I have a little more time on my plate I’ll be finishing up and sending out galleries that are due for my regular sessions in the next few days. Gifts for my couples from 2025 will be going out soon! Videos that need finished will be sent out in the next week! And… I have so many sessions and weddings that I want to share that you will see in the near future!!

Thank you to all my clients for being understanding and working around me working two full time jobs and taking care of my three boys!! You have no idea how much I appreciate that from the bottom of my heart! 🙏

A quick life update and a sincere thank you!!

To my wonderful 2025 couples still waiting on their final galleries to be delivered,

First, I want to say thank you. Thank you for letting me capture one of the biggest days of your lives. I know you are all anxiously awaiting your full galleries, and I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in getting them into your hands.
This year and the end of the season last year has brought a lot of big (and beautiful!) changes my way. Between stepping into a new teaching position (I haven’t held another full time job other than photography in 3 years. This was prior to having 2 more boys as well!!), keeping up with my kiddos, and navigating some other personal transitions, my editing desk has been a bit more crowded than usual (I want to be transparent with my clients! I am not used to editing this much while still having to take care of my day to day tasks. This past wedding season has been my biggest. Although I am grateful for being able to capture so many beautiful weddings, I WILL NOT be taking on as many weddings again!!)
I know how much these memories mean to you, and I’m working hard to ensure every photo gets the detail and love it deserves. I have been editing in some capacity almost every day of the week since last September. I am taking one wedding at a time and getting through them week by week.

My plan for delivery as of now:
• The majority of the 2025 weddings left to edit: Will be delivered by the end of February.
• The few remaining end-of-year weddings from 2025: Will be delivered by the middle of March.

I am so grateful for your patience and grace as I balance teaching, being a parent, and your photographer. I promise the wait will be worth it! 📸✨
