I first met Tammy and Carson last year for Carson's senior photos. Tonight I got to meet the rest of the family as we beat out the rain for a fun session at Heritage Park.
These guys were absolute pros - and kept me laughing the entire time!

This session was all Tammy asked for her birthday (which is today!) and her family did not let her down! :)

I am THAT photographer;

Who will overshoot and overdeliver. Massively.

Who will finish your gallery way sooner than expected because I'm just too excited about it to do much of anything else.

Who will struggle to narrow down the images for a sneak peek because I truly want to just share all of them because you are perfect.

Who will yell from behind her camera how perfect and gorgeous you all look. every. single. time.

Who might deliver an emotional blurry image in your gallery because it’s not about the clarity, it’s about the moment. And I want you to have it.

Who will include five almost identical images because the mom’s face changes in each and I am not sure which she will love most so I’m sending them all.

Who will gush over your baby and say I wish I could nibble their toes. (I won’t. But I’ll want to.)

Who will send outtakes with your finished gallery, and they will be edited too.

Who just wants to take photos and capture memories so I completely stink at the admin side of things.

Who wants you to message me that you love your photos after I send them. I mean immediately or I get so anxious.

Who would love if you send me behind the scenes photos.

Who will help you choose outfits. Plan. Send links. The whole thing. The WHOLE THING.

Who really wants your kids to like me. I want them to get excited when you say you’re coming for photos with me.

Who will cry when you send me a Holiday card with your family photo on it that I took.

Who loves when you like, share, and comment on my posts even if you don't book me - because the support itself is overwhelming.

Who will listen to you, laugh with you, cry with you, and become your friend.

You are SO much more than my “client” you are family! And I love and appreciate that you fit me into your budget!

I had the absolute honor of photographing the WIN Worthington Interfaith Neighbors Faith & Nations Event yesterday. It was absolutely beautiful as people of many different faiths and cultures came together to learn from each other. I think if we would just sit down and listen to each other more often, our world would be in such a better place. And this event was evidence of just that!

Here are just a few of my favorite shots from yesterday. With over 700 final images, it was hard to narrow them down!

A few years back I did Betsy & Matt's wedding - and last Saturday I got to capture their sweet, growing family!

Check out those baby blues on big brother! And isn't Betsy's nose crinkle the CUTEST thing you've ever seen? I just love it.
