Top of the Rock is still magical in the rain.
Sneak preview for … Excited to get this gallery wrapped up and delivered!
Also… how about another lesson in lighting from this REAL wedding?! Weather and rain happen. Cold and dark skies aren’t always ideal but what can ya do except roll with it… However, this is why it’s critical you have hired a wedding professional who understand how to create light in the absence of it.
Majority of brides will send me a photo list of high points that it’s important to capture ( which is great and always welcomed) , but Katelyn only sent me ONE photo that she had seen that it was important to her that we recreate on her wedding day- and it was like that very first photo (which turned out gorgeous btw🤌) ! But I think what is really fun here is that every picture above is using different lighting… Off camera set ups, on camera flash, natural source, and complex artificial set ups that were done on the fly in total darkness and rain! And we nailed them all!
So again, I cannot stress enough the importance of asking your potential photographer about their knowledge of lighting and how they use more than natural sources to capture a day… Because trust- there will be a lot of time where that source dose not exist and you need to make due and still make magic!
