Went to the talk and opening reception for the Emotions Unbound Exhibit at the Scarab Club this afternoon and saw my two works on display. They are my offendas/altar to my mother on this Day of the Dead weekend as it turns out. The pieces highlight the emotions involved for us in the last months and particularly her last Christmas with us. I think she’d be (or is) proud of me since it’s so tough to get into shows there. So kudos to all the artists who were accepted into this wonderful exhibit.

Am so happy to share that after a few years of trying, I finally got a collage accepted into a show of the Verum Ultimum Art Gallery. Their online exhibits are usually just exquisite and one time recently I at least got waitlisted. But this time was the charm and they accepted Old Saw Masquerading as Itself #2 into Chasing Ghosts 10: Piercing the Veil through Remembrance, Legacy, & Beyond. Hope you take a look as it’s literally haunting in an artistically interesting way.
