It’s Friday and before busy season takes its jaws of life grip on my world, I thought I’d pop in to give you some insight into the one behind KGP!
Seventeen years of experience doesn’t mean the butterflies disappear.
It means I know how to work through them, prepare for the unexpected, pivot when North Carolina weather changes its mind, (like it might today) and create beautiful, consistent results even when my brain is quietly questioning everything. 😂
I care deeply about the experience I give my clients and the work I create for them. That care has pushed me to keep learning, refining my craft, and investing in the education and equipment needed to serve families well.
But experience doesn’t make you immune to comparison, overthinking, or wondering whether someone truly loves what you created. It just teaches you not to let those feelings run the show.
Maybe that’s the part we don’t talk about enough: confidence and self-doubt can exist in the same person. You can be experienced, capable, and still care enough to get butterflies.
Which one of these surprised you most? Or, if you own a business, which one felt a little too familiar? I’d love to hear your take in the comments regardless of whether you are a client, friend, small business owner, or none of the above.
Special thanks to GREENSBORO PHOTOGRAPHER for the new images. Even we photogs need to have updated images too!
