Shoutout to Alex for working so patiently with the slowest learner ever when it comes to dance!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to Communities in Schools of HP on my behalf! I’m so honored to be on this journey and dancing for such a good cause!

Not to mention, I’m actually having the best time learning to dance! I practice daily and I have most definitely seen some improvement! We have a ways to go before I actually look like I’m dancing but I’m feeling more and more confident that I’ll get there!

Let me introduce you to Laurie — my amazing virtual assistant! I want you all to have a sweet face to go with the name when you email YLP!

If you’ve been with me for a while, you know I’ve talked about needing a Laurie for years. Doing all the things just wasn’t sustainable, and I finally have someone helping me behind the scenes!

Laurie handles my inbox, invoicing, and client reviews. On paper, she takes care of my clients and makes sure everyone is well looked after. In reality, she keeps the back end of YLP running smoothly and has taken a huge weight off my plate. It took me forever to make this hire, but now I can’t imagine how I ever did it without her!

So please...if you have any questions about how pricing works...want to hear about our current availability...want advice on what to wear or where we should go...Laurie is trained on all the things and is ready to serve you!

It's Holiday Photo Season!

It's our busiest time of year with Fall Family Photos and Christmas Card Season overlapping all of October and November. Coupled with Wedding Season! It's exciting and busy over here!

I'm sharing this family session because it's the perfect example of How To Dress For Your Family Portraits!

1.) The Colors are all Coordinating! Mom and Dad both pulled colors from their baby girl's dress! My advice is, pick one person to have the pattern outfit...and then everyone else pulls inspiration from that outfit.

2.) Mom's dress has some beautiful texture and interest!

3.) The shoes all coordinate and compliment one another...and the outfits!

There is a lot of thought that goes into getting ready, but it's worth it!
