What better way to bid farewell to one of my cheer captains than an impromptu photo shoot. This athletic scholar is headed off to cheer at the collegiate level. I know she will continue to do great things in the future! Congratulations!!!

It had been a while since I'd been behind the lens. But it was only fitting that my hiatus come to an end with this Beauty in front of the lens. I shot her High School Senior Photos. Even when we moved across country I still watched her mom's posts about her; so I was able to see her grow up. When she reached out I knew I did not want to miss this milestone. So one drizzly morning we got together and made magic. And this shoot, though freezing a moment in time for them, served a different purpose for me. This was a moment of peace and confirmation. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your story Ladies! Congratulations again D!

A week ago I shot a funeral. It was the first full funeral and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. This one hit a little different because I knew the young man laying in the casket. I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to deliver but tonight I had the privilege of delivering those pictures to his mother. I must say it was an experience that I'll never forget. Hopefully the pictures captured will freeze a moment in time where we didn't mourn a death but instead celebrated a life. RIP S.L.I.

I realized I never updated everyone on where the big move was. So I had to take a second to do so. We’re in NORTH CAROLINAAAAAAAA! We’ve returned back to where the journey all started! This transition has been one full of emotions and a lot of crazy moving parts but we’re almost settled. And just in time for all the GORGEOUS fall colors and some of my favorite seniors about to graduate!!! Looking for a shoot? Let’s chat!

COVID truly put a damper on the photography industry. As things open back up and cases are lowering I’m excited to jump back behind the lens. That being said, I’m also excited to be doing so in one of my favorite places. Stay tuned to find out when and where we’re moving next!
