Pick the right tool for the job.

For this project with in Flemmington, NJ, the right tools were my mini 4 pro from DJI (..RIP?) and my trusty Ronin RS3 Pro Gimbal rigged up with my Canon R5C.

20,000 square feet, over 120 machines, it is by far one of the most impressive facilities I’ve ever stepped foot in. If you’re ever in the Flemmington, NJ area you owe it to yourself to check them out.

Incorporating drone footage in my commercial assets is a VERY new development for me and I’m loving some of these initial results. Once again proving that it is NEVER a bad idea to learn a new skill.

Lately, I’ve been amazed by how quickly AI is reshaping the creative industry. The tools are powerful — they can generate, enhance, and streamline in ways we couldn’t imagine just a few years or even months ago.

But as someone who works behind the camera, I’m reminded that no algorithm can truly capture what happens in real life — the laughter between friends, the tears during a speech, the fleeting, unrepeatable moments that make each event unique. These amazing new tools can generate stunning visuals or streamline workflows, but they simply CANNOT and WILL NOT replace the human touch that comes with traditional live-event photography and videography.

Technology can and should assist creativity, but it can’t replace authenticity. 📸

Style and Strength.

I have to admit, I was just a little nervous going into this shoot with American Ninja Warrior .andrade. We hadn’t really scouted the location, I hadn’t done these type of portraits in a minute, and this was our first time working together.

Little did I know that Masi would be beyond chill in front of the camera and an absolute blast to work with! Just a few of the amazing captures we were able to grab.

Thanks to , I now have a Super 16 Macropad programmed with all my commonly used action scripts and keystrokes in Photoshop / Lightroom!

In my business, time is most definitely money, so I’m a big fan of ANY tool that can give me a leg up when it comes to improving workflow efficiency and saving me valuable minutes / hours on the back end.
