Another quick note about children and social media.
One of the questions I get asked often is about posting photos of children online. The answer is simple: I post with intention. My first priority has always been creating memories for families, not creating content for social media. The images I deliver belong to the families who trusted me to capture those moments, and that responsibility is something I take seriously.
If you see a child's face featured on my website or social media pages, it is because I have received direct permission from that child's parent or legal guardian to share those images. If permission is not given, those photos stay private. In a world where everything seems to be shared instantly, I believe parents should have the final say in how and where their children's images appear.

With that being said, here are a couple of sweet faces from The Cardinal's Nest that I was given permission to share. ❤️

Thank you to all the families who trust me with your memories. Whether your photos are shared publicly or remain just for your family, they are created with the same care, attention, and respect.

Happy Friday! As of right now all Popsicles in the Park Pictures have been sent. Please make sure to check your emails. I do have one child that has a provided email that keeps coming back as undeliverable. If anyone knows Nicole Winningham ( Jeremiah Winningham) could you please have them call, text or even email? I am currently working on a family session and a beautiful elopement and then on to the kindergarten celebration at Thomson Elementary in Davison.

Wow! The Kindergarten Celebration at Thomson Elementary was amazing! Thank you to the wonderful PTO who put on the celebration and helped me create some memories for the students and parents. I believe I counted 172 students who had their pictures done. Thank you for everyone’s kindness and cooperation. Watch your emails for your graduate’s pictures!

Some love stories don’t need a big crowd—just two people choosing each other. ❤️

The Houghton elopement was intimate, intentional, and filled with all the moments that matter most. There is something incredibly beautiful about stripping away the expectations and focusing on what a wedding day is truly about: love.

I want to say thank you to all of the families that came out to the popsicles in the park at Davison's Jack Abernathy Park for Davison Schools Cardinals Nest and took part in getting photographs. This year I ended up with over 60 kids. It was a great group of parents and kids and I look forward to being able to share what I can.

Wedding season has officially begun, along with my busy summer family season. Living in a tourist town means I photograph many families visiting on vacation, and my schedule tends to fill quickly this time of year. If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, I wouldn’t wait too long to reach out.

Yesterday’s minis at For-Mar were definitely one for the books 😅 After already having to reschedule once, I appreciate all of the moms, grandmas, dads and kiddos who came out and powered through the heat and the mosquitoes with me.

Despite the weather trying to fight us every step of the way, there were still so many sweet moments, laughs, cuddles, and memories captured. Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and for trusting me with these moments for your families.

I’m so grateful for every one of you and cannot wait to share your galleries 🤍

Everyone who has a session with me tomorrow at For Mar Nature Preserve! I have sent everyone an email but i am trying to cover everyone and wanted to post.

I am closely watching the weather for tomorrow’s sessions. At this time, everything is still on as scheduled, but with the possibility of storms rolling in, I will continue monitoring conditions throughout the day.

I will make a final decision no later than 1:30 PM tomorrow if the storms do end up moving in or look likely to impact our sessions. Please check emails and/or texts. I will be updating asap.
