Sometimes if we look close enough in the most mundane scenes we can find hidden beauty. Found this shell hanging off a small sand cliff on the beach at .lake. Simply amazing!

Did you know that back in the Devonian age (400m. years ago) Kentucky was covered by shallow ocean water? 🏞️🐚

I wonder if this little hole was formed back then and if little ocean dwellers would swim through it to hide from dinosaur like predators.🐠🦈🦖 hmmm!

Side note; the Devonian age is referred to as the “age of fish”🐟

I wasn’t sure when I stood in front of this boulder if I was looking at something real or a 3D rendering from the movie Avatar. The entire scene was simply captivating. The large tree growing right on top of it? Now that was a trip!

Sometimes we come across a “curio” that at first glance we deem insignificant. However, after taking a closer look, we can theorize a story!

The story in my head? In the distant past a tall tree stood where this stump remains; maybe an oak! A Northern Cardinal made its nest within the branches of this oak. There was a scurry of squirrels that lived in it too, and would use it as a hide out from a native hawk.

How this tree became a trivial stump on a trail that hikers stroll beyond? Maybe it was the work of termites… IDK🤔🤷‍♂️

What's the story in YOUR head?

On the way to , I found this little part of the trail that looked like a staircase. I wasn’t sure if it was naturally like this and just uncovered by water and foot traffic or if people actually “made” it. Nontheless, I found myself reaching for the wide angle lens to capture the scene. 🌌🌌

A few steps upwards and I noticed a little water dripping over another limestone cliff. Not sure though if it ended up looking like water or like a ray of light flaring into the glass.💧

Normally the hardest part about a hike is the start. You don't know what's ahead, you don't know how hard the trail will be and you don't know if you will enjoy it. This was definitely true for the "cool bros" 😎 that were with me on the , but to me, I had done it before, I knew what was to come and I was bouncing with excitement.🤸‍♂️

Keep your eye out in the coming days for pictures 📸 that I took specifically while hiking to Grays Arch. Oh, and don't forget to like, comment, share AND follow! 😉🤜🤛

Around 6:15 AM last Saturday I woke up cold in my tent and quickly decided to go for an unplanned drive with my brother, just to explore the area!

As the sun was rising, we came across a little hill and I saw this weathered barn. I just had to stop as the scene was very simple, yet very picturesque.

There is a reason the phrase "the rolling hills of Kentucky" was coined and now you know it.

This past weekend I had an opportunity to visit the beautiful state of , particularly the geologic area. What a stunning place!

After a 6+ hour drive in my Silverado, I decided that its an epic pickup and that I like it, especially the 4x4!

Stay tuned as I will be posting more pictures from my short trip in the next few days.
