I haven’t always been a photographer, but once I got my hands on a camera, I was hooked! The creative nature of photography was a natural fit for me.

I’m an Interior Designer by trade. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Colorado State University in 1989 with a degree in Environmental Design (with a concentration in interior design). Following college I designed thousands of award winning model homes, sales offices and clubhouses for residential builders throughout California, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Texas for over 25 years. I slowed down my business after so many years and now specialize in staging and real estate consultations. Knowing exactly what buyers want is my forte.

In addition to interior design, I’m an avid artist. I primarily work in oil painting and sculpture. I work on commission, but I also create my own pieces, which I sell. My art varies from westerns, equine, livestock, landscapes, portraits, & still life’s. I grew up on a ranch raising and showing livestock and horses. Agriculture is in my blood so naturally it comes out in everything I do.

When I first dove into photography I merely wanted to create photographs as reference pieces for my paintings. I poured myself into every photography class I could to learn what I needed to know. Little did I know, however, that I would fall in love with the camera as much as I loved interior design and art. Pretty soon it was evident, my photography would stretch way beyond just reference photos. The composition, the subjects, the editing...........it all was just an extension of my artistic abilities.
