If we’re going to spend an evening chasing the sunset together, I figured I should properly introduce myself. 🤍

Hey friends! I’m Ally - the face behind the camera. (: I’m a 21 year old photographer based in North Carolina! I bounce back and forth between Catawba and Brunswick county.

Fun facts about me:
☼ I’m happiest with sandy feet and salty air
☼ I spend my weekdays as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and getting to love and support kids with disabilities is one of the greatest joys of my life. Because of the work I do, I’ve learned that the best moments happen when people are free to be exactly who they are. Those are the kinds of sessions I want to create.
☼ I love Jesus more than anything. His love has completely changed my life, and I want to create art that both embodies and celebrates our freedom in him.
☼ I love thrift stores, old film cameras, poetry, and house plants.
☼ Give me a strawberry kombucha and a folksy playlist (with lots of Noah Kahan of course) by the ocean and I’m in my happy place.
☼ I’m a recovering perfectionist & people pleaser. These days, I’m learning to trade perfection for presence and to celebrate the beauty that’s already here.
☼ I love all things creative! Photography is actually just one of the many art forms that I enjoy. I write poetry and music, paint, and enjoy pretty much anything creatively expressive.

The heart behind my photography is to preserve connection and the all the sweetness of how right now feels. Each season of life seems to carry both struggles and joys and I want to come along side of you and help you appreciate and remember your joys.
