✨ A little business update! ✨
I’ve had quite a few people ask about offering the viral “Stranger Sessions” photoshoots, and I truly appreciate everyone thinking of Carroll Candids for this trend!
After giving it some thought, I’ve decided that this is not a service I will be offering at this time.
As a photographer, my priority is creating a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for everyone involved. With a session involving two people who may not know each other, there are unfortunately situations that can arise that are outside of my control—including uncomfortable interactions, hurt feelings, disagreements, harassment, or other issues between the participants.
I never want a client to feel uncomfortable during a session, and I also don’t feel comfortable putting myself or my business in a position where I could potentially be held responsible for circumstances between participants that I cannot control.
This decision is not meant to take away from anyone who loves the trend! I think the concept is incredibly creative and fun—I’ve simply decided that it isn’t the right fit for my business or the type of experience I want to provide my clients. 🤍
